Covid-19: N-Power Beneficiary Forfeits Allowance To Support Govt Effort

A beneficiary of the Social Investment Program N-Power named Isaac Tamunosiki from Rivers State made this call to other beneficiaries.

He said ” I Isaac Tamunosiki is willing to donate my 2 months salary to the Federal Government of Nigeria to support the fight on the Coronavirus pandemic, it might be little but little drops of water makes an ocean.”

He also called on his fellow N-Power colleagues to do the same because the Government also needs our support and that you must not be a rich person to be able to help others in need.

They have been donations from other well meaning Nigerians and Cooperate Bodies to help support the Government.

” We also call on all Nigerians to take personal responsibility to support those who are vulnerable within their communities, helping them with whatever they may need.”-President Buhari 

“We are very grateful to see the emerging support of the private sector and individuals to the response as well as our development partners.”

“At this point, I will ask that all contributions and donations be coordinated and centralized to ensure efficient and impactful spending. The Presidential Task Force remains the central coordinating body on the COVID-19- President Buhari

This noble gesture from young Nigerian is worth commendable.

We all have a contribution to fight this Covid-19 Coronavirus.
