Oyo concludes TESCOM CBT for intending teachers, set to release results timeously
The Computer Based Test organized by the Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, to recruit teachers which kick-started on Tuesday, 11th August 2020 has come to an end this Friday.
Noble FM’s correspondent, Micheal Oladejo, who monitored the final exercise at the University of Ibadan, Distance learning center, venue of the CBT, reports that about 60,000 applicants wrote the Computer Based Test organized for intending teachers by the Oyo state government.
While speaking on the ten-days exercise, the Chairman, Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu hinted that the commission will meet with the consultant in charge of the exercise and other stakeholders concerned next Monday for the timely release of the CBT results.
Pastor Alamu who added that the Oyo state government is determined to employ the best, disclosed that those who passed the exam will be called for an interview in September 2020.
He, however, said the screening and interview for the non-teaching applicants will come up immediately after the teaching applicants’ interviews are concluded.
Applicants who expressed confidence in the CBT called on the Oyo state government to be fair and transparent in the outcome of the exercise.
