Oyo TESCOM recruitment portal resolved technical issues, states applicant’s requirements

The job portal of Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has began operation to receive uploading of documents from applicant who filled and submitted paper form to the commission in February.

As contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde, the portal began full operation after lingering technical issues which has since marred the the smooth process since 13th of July, 2020 was finally resolved.

Each applicant is expected to log on with the phone number used while filling of paper form in February when the application process began.

The applicant will proceed to create an account with an active e-mail address and supply personal password on the portal.

The applicant will then proceed to supply personal data and upload relevant documents corresponding with the qualifications applicant’s supplied earlier.

There are 18 teaching available positions for all applicants, majorly from core subjects.

The requirements for teaching staff as specified by Oyo TESCOM are:

  • The National Certificate in Education (NCE), for those that attended Colleges of Education.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Education) – B.A (Ed)/ Bachelor of Arts (B.A); Bachelor of Science (Education) – B.Sc. (Ed)/Bachelor of Science (B.Sc); Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); for those that attended Universities from recognized Institutions.
  • All applicants are expected to possess, Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial, Senior Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English and Mathematics.
  • Applicants with Degree must posses NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate while Birth Certificate (the National Population Commission) or Affidavit of Declaration of Age are also required for smooth registration.

It is important for all applicants to provide Local Government Identification and Evidence of Change of Name where applicable.
